Gartner forecasts that global semiconductor revenue will increase to $1.6 trillion by 2026, representing a 92% growth from 2025, and is expected to further rise to $1.9 trillion by 2027. Investments in AI infrastructure and the memory price increase cycle are driving the industry into a new growth phase. Specifically, memory revenue is projected to reach $837 billion in 2026, accounting for 54% of total semiconductor revenue, and will surpass $1 trillion in 2027. DRAM and NAND flash memory revenues are expected to grow by 246.6% and 371.9%, respectively, as AI infrastructure reshapes the memory market landscape. For non-memory semiconductors, revenue is expected to reach $718 billion in 2026, up 21.9% year-on-year, and will reach $864 billion in 2027. Additionally, the share of the AI data center ecosystem in total semiconductor revenue is projected to rise from 36.5% in 2026 to over 53% by 2030.
