On August 24, Montage Technology revealed that its PCIe 6.x/CXL 3.x Retimer chip has successfully undergone a rigorous series of certification tests conducted by PCI-SIG—the authoritative international body overseeing PCIe interconnection standards. As a result, the chip has now been officially recognized and included in PCI-SIG’s esteemed supplier list. This chip adheres to the two prominent high-speed interconnection standards, PCIe 6.x and CXL 3.x, making it particularly well-suited for demanding environments such as AI servers and data centers, where signal integrity is of paramount importance. Its inclusion in the PCI-SIG supplier list will streamline the procurement process for large OEM manufacturers and hyperscale data center operators, significantly reducing the time required for certification.
