On August 20, Alibaba Group unveiled its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027. During the subsequent analyst conference call, Wu Yongming, the Group's CEO, disclosed that T-Head has successfully developed a comprehensive, self-reliant chip system encompassing GPUs, CPUs, and network chips. By early August, the Zhenwu chip had already been deployed to serve more than 650 customers. Furthermore, super node instances powered by T-Head's latest-generation Zhenwu M890 chip have been rolled out on Alibaba Cloud and are now available for widespread purchase. Anticipation is high for an expanded supply in the latter half of the year to adequately cater to customer needs.
