Data released on Wednesday showed that, influenced by a substantial increase in chip output from companies like SK Hynix, the mining and manufacturing output of North Chungcheong Province in South Korea surged by 27.8% year-on-year in the second quarter of this year, leading the growth rate among all regions in South Korea. In comparison, the national mining and manufacturing output in South Korea increased by 2% year-on-year in the second quarter.
