To meet the growing global demand for NAND flash memory, semiconductor giant SK Hynix is continuously allocating additional capital, manpower, and strategic resources to its NAND flash memory manufacturing base in China. The latest reports indicate that SK Hynix plans to increase production capacity by 50% at its plant in Dalian, China, by 2027. Operated by its NAND business subsidiary Solidigm, this expansion marks the formal restart of the company's mainland China expansion plan, which has been frozen for four years.
