On August 5, Taiwan's Ministry of Justice Investigation Bureau announced that from July 13 to August 4, synchronized island-wide searches were conducted on 17 enterprises with mainland backgrounds, involving 64 office locations and interviewing 114 individuals. The searched enterprises are mainly concentrated in fields such as chip design, semiconductor equipment, and advanced manufacturing, including ACM Research, Goke Microelectronics, Zhuhai CosMX Battery, and Shenzhen Topray Microelectronics, among others.
