After market close on Wednesday, Eastern Time, SanDisk announced during its earnings call that it has signed long-term NBM agreements with eight diversified customers in the data center and edge computing sectors. According to the agreements, NBM bit supply will account for over 50% of the company's total bit shipments in fiscal 2027 and approximately two-thirds in fiscal 2028. The company's CEO stated: 'In the past, we could only predict demand within three months. Now, with locked-in purchase volumes for over four years and a clear profitability model, along with collaboration with top global tech companies, our progress has exceeded expectations. Some major customers have proactively increased their future purchase demands just one quarter after signing, indicating an extremely robust demand environment, particularly in the data center sector.'
