TSMC's Central Taiwan Science Park Taichung Phase II Park is accelerating the construction of a new 1.4nm advanced process factory. The first plant is expected to be completed before April next year, with trial production starting as early as the beginning of the third quarter of next year. The new factory site, code-named 'Fab 25,' plans to build four plants, with the first two already awarded to Dahsin Engineering and Hsing Wu Construction, and now in the steel construction phase.
