On July 30, the A-share market exhibited a notable divergence in performance. Specifically, both the GEM Index and the STAR 50 witnessed a sharp decline, each dropping by more than 2%. In contrast, the Shanghai Composite Index eked out a marginal gain of 0.08%, whereas the Shenzhen Component Index slipped by 1.02%. Sectors including semiconductors, photolithography equipment, glass substrates, and CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) suffered significant downturns. Across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges, over 1,700 individual stocks experienced a decline.
