On July 30, all four of the principal A-share indices experienced a collective decline at the market opening. The Shanghai Composite Index dipped by 0.43%, the Shenzhen Component Index tumbled by 0.93%, the ChiNext Index witnessed a 1.4% drop, and the STAR Market Composite Index saw a 1.1% decrease. The semiconductor and optical module sectors sustained their downward trend in adjustments. Specifically, Zhongji Innolight's stock price fell by more than 3%, while Cambricon and MetaX shares both dropped by over 2%, and C Changxin's stock declined by more than 1%. Conversely, the oil and gas, along with precious metals sectors, showed strength. Zhaojin Gold's stock rose by more than 3%, and China National Offshore Oil Corporation's shares increased by over 1%.
