On July 28th, reports emerged that NVIDIA officially informed its AIC (Add-in Card) partners last week of a comprehensive price hike for the RTX 50 series graphics cards, with increases spanning from 15% to 25%. In response to this, domestic AIC manufacturers halted their price quotations last week and will be reinstating them sequentially, starting from 3 PM today. Taking the Hong Kong market as a case in point, the entry-level RTX 5050 experienced a price increase of 1,000 Hong Kong dollars, while the retail price of the RTX 5070 Ti soared beyond 10,000 Hong Kong dollars. Certain models available through domestic online retailers are commanding even higher premiums; for instance, the non-public version of the RTX 5060 Ti witnessed a single-day price spike of nearly 2,000 yuan. The primary catalyst behind this price adjustment is the escalating cost of GDDR7 memory, and these price increases are set to take full effect in August.
