On July 28, news surfaced indicating that SK Hynix is gearing up to initiate mass production and distribution of its latest-generation low-power mobile DRAM offering, LPDDR6, during the second half of 2026. Leveraging the cutting-edge sixth-generation 10nm-class (1c) manufacturing process, this product successfully concluded its development phase in March 2026 and is now making significant strides towards achieving full-scale production readiness. In comparison to its predecessor, LPDDR6 boasts notable enhancements in both data processing velocity and power consumption management.
