This sudden hike can be traced back to the upstream price escalations in GDDR6/GDDR7 memory components. On July 23, NVIDIA issued a notification to AIC (Add-in-Card) manufacturers, instructing them to raise the shipment prices of GPU cores along with memory kits. This directive swiftly rippled through to the terminal retail prices, prompting an immediate response in the market.

Meanwhile, the second-hand market also witnessed significant price fluctuations. The RTX 5060 Ti 8G saw its price leap from around 2,500 yuan to approximately 3,200 yuan. In contrast, the RTX 5060 8G maintained a relatively stable price point at around 2,500 yuan. The primary catalyst behind this overall price surge is the relentless expansion of the artificial intelligence industry. As DRAM manufacturers ramp up their production capacity for high-bandwidth HBM memory chips, the supply of consumer-grade GDDR memory has become increasingly constrained, further fueling the price increases.
