Intel’s foundry business has recently achieved notable milestones, successfully securing design orders from a host of tech giants, including AMD, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Microsoft, Micron, and Marvell. These leading companies are set to leverage Intel’s cutting-edge 18A and 14A process technologies for their chip designs. Intel’s 18A process has entered the production ramp-up phase, with yields now reaching approximately 85%—a level that is closing in on the performance benchmark set by TSMC’s 2nm technology. Concurrently, Intel is ramping up production capacity for both its 18A and Intel 3 processes, with plans to roll out an even broader range of products based on the 18A and 14A processes in the near future.
