According to data released by South Korean customs on Monday, propelled by robust semiconductor product exports, South Korea’s export volume during the first 10 days of July soared to US$29.8 billion, representing a significant 53.9% year-on-year increase. This figure sets a new record for any 10-day period in South Korean customs statistics, surpassing the previous high of US$28.6 billion recorded in June. During the same timeframe, the import volume also saw an uptick, rising by 17.4% year-on-year to reach US$23.5 billion, culminating in a trade surplus of US$6.4 billion.
