On July 12, reports emerged that, on the evening of July 10 (Eastern US Time), Kwak Noh-Jung, the CEO of SK Hynix, forecasted that 2027 would witness the most constrained supply conditions in the memory industry. He mentioned that at present, customers are eager to enter into long-term supply agreements with SK Hynix, yet the company's production capacity remains constrained. Despite SK Hynix's efforts to ramp up its production capacity, it is projected that customer demand will continue to outstrip the company's supply capabilities even beyond 2030. Nevertheless, some investors within the domestic industry disclosed that executives from leading overseas memory manufacturers are also keeping a close eye on the expansion strategies of Chinese memory firms, with ChangXin Memory Technologies and Yangtze Memory Technologies potentially emerging as major factors in the future memory market landscape.
