This May, NVIDIA made adjustments to the prices of two models within its GeForce RTX 50 series lineup, namely the RTX 5090 and the RTX 5090 D v2. This move was primarily prompted by a substantial surge in the cost of GDDR7 memory, which had a particularly pronounced effect on high-end models equipped with large-capacity memory. In a bid to address the market void that exists between the RTX 5090 and the RTX 5080, NVIDIA is gearing up to introduce the RTX 5090 SE graphics card. This new card is outfitted with a scaled-down GB202 chip, employs GDDR7 memory, narrows the memory interface width to 384-bit, retains a memory capacity of 32GB, and keeps the overall power consumption of the entire board at 500W.
