Sources indicate that AMD is slated to officially unveil its EPYC Venice CPU, which is built on the cutting-edge Zen 6 architecture, at the upcoming Advancing AI event scheduled for July 22-23. This processor is manufactured using TSMC's state-of-the-art 2nm process technology, boasting an impressive core count of up to 256. In terms of performance and energy efficiency, it represents a significant leap forward, with improvements exceeding 70% compared to its predecessor, the Zen 5 generation. Additionally, the EPYC Venice CPU supports 16-channel DDR5 memory, delivering a maximum bandwidth of 1.6TB/s, and has been upgraded to comply with the PCIe Gen 6.0 standard.
