Recently, the 2026 IEEE/JSAP Symposium on VLSI Technology and Circuits (VLSI Symposium 2026) took place in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Two papers authored by the team led by Lin Longyang at the Shenzhen-Hong Kong College of Microelectronics, Southern University of Science and Technology, were selected for presentation. These two remarkable achievements center around 4K low-temperature quantum error correction decoding technology for scalable quantum computing and edge-side visual-language-action model inference for embodied intelligent robot control, respectively. They vividly showcase the team's relentless pursuit of innovation in areas such as novel intelligent computing chips, compute-in-memory architectures, low-latency dedicated accelerators, and state-of-the-art system-on-chip verification.
