Samsung Electro-Mechanics has outlined an ambitious plan to invest a staggering 15 trillion won in the Busan area, spanning from the current year through to 2040. This substantial investment is earmarked for the establishment of robust production bases dedicated to package substrates and MLCCs (Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors). The strategic initiative is designed to bolster the company's competitive edge in the burgeoning markets of AI data center package substrates and MLCCs. Furthermore, Samsung Electro-Mechanics envisions transforming its Busan plant into a pivotal center for high-performance package substrates, premium MLCC manufacturing lines, and cutting-edge R&D activities.
