LiOn Microelectronics has recently declared that the company is maintaining a high volume of shipments, buoyed by a robust influx of orders. Particularly noteworthy is the significant demand for its 8-inch heavily doped epitaxial wafers. The company's monthly production capacity for 6-inch substrates and polished wafers stands at an impressive 750,000 units, with the majority of these being transformed into 6-inch epitaxial wafers prior to shipment. Notably, the substrates essential for epitaxial wafer production are entirely self-sourced, ensuring complete autonomy and stringent control over the manufacturing process. Regarding advanced manufacturing processes, the Jiaxing plant is dedicated to producing 12-inch lightly doped polished wafers tailored for 28nm and below advanced processes. Additionally, it has established a strategic layout for lightly doped epitaxial wafers, primarily catering to the needs of analog and logic chip customers. Furthermore, the company has successfully commenced mass production of silicon wafers specifically designed for 28nm logic chips.
