Based on data released by the Korea Customs Service on July 1, South Korea's export volume in June witnessed a remarkable year-on-year increase of 70.9%, significantly outstripping market forecasts, which had anticipated a 60.9% rise. Meanwhile, the import volume also experienced growth, climbing by 30.1% year-on-year, surpassing the expected 24.5%. Consequently, the trade surplus soared to US$36.149 billion, exceeding the anticipated figure of US$32.6 billion.
