AMEC has made an announcement revealing that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AMEC Lingang, is set to participate as a limited partner. Alongside related entity Zhivei Capital and a group of other investors, AMEC Lingang aims to establish the Shanghai Zhivei Lingfeng Venture Capital Partnership Enterprise (Limited Partnership). The fund is tentatively projected to raise a total of 3 billion yuan. Specifically, AMEC Lingang plans to contribute a capital amount not exceeding 1.47 billion yuan from its own reserves, which is anticipated to constitute no more than 49% of the fund's total capital. The primary investment focus of the fund will be on semiconductors, the broader semiconductor industry, and other strategic emerging sectors. It is important to note that this transaction involves a related party and thus necessitates the approval of the shareholders' meeting before proceeding.
