MEMSIC issued a statement in response to recent market rumors concerning the company's MEMS sensor products and its joint venture, Jiangsu Minchengxin Semiconductor Co., Ltd., which was established in collaboration with a partner. At present, the joint venture has only just finalized its registration process, and the research and development (R&D) team is in the process of being assembled. As of now, no products have been manufactured. Future products will undergo several phases, including R&D, pilot production, and full-scale manufacturing, each of which entails certain uncertainties. Presently, no revenue has been generated from the products in question, and there remain uncertainties regarding their future market promotion and acceptance.
