As BYD Semiconductor marks the milestone of shipping over 100 million BMS AFE chips, we provide an overview of its BMS product matrix: From AFE analog front-ends to complete system solutions, BYD Semiconductor has built a fully closed-loop solution covering battery management for new energy vehicles. Its BF8915 series chips have passed AEC-Q100 Grade 1 certification, are suitable for -40℃~125℃ environments, and can monitor 16 voltage and 8 temperature channels with a single chip. They support daisy-chain cascading for synchronous detection of hundreds of battery cells and integrate functions such as balancing control and overvoltage/overcurrent/overheating protection. As the only domestic company with a complete BMS chip solution, BYD Semiconductor has established a comprehensive layout ranging from individual cells to PACKs, high voltage to low voltage, and front-end acquisition to back-end control.
