During the midday break, the three principal A-share indices exhibited varied performances. The Shanghai Composite Index experienced a slight decline of 0.18%, whereas the Shenzhen Component Index advanced by 0.39%, and the ChiNext Index remained relatively stable, closing unchanged. Stocks associated with glass fiber and glass substrate concepts were at the forefront of the gains, with several companies, including Shandong Glass Fiber, China Jushi, and Voxel Optoelectronics, reaching their daily price limits. Diel Laser witnessed a significant surge, climbing over 10%. Additionally, PCB concept stocks also showed strength, with firms such as Shennan Circuits, Hongchang Electronics, and Ultrasonic Electronics hitting their daily limits. Conversely, tourism and media stocks faced notable downturns, with Tianfu Culture & Tourism plummeting more than 6% and Guangdong Media dropping over 5%. In terms of individual stock performance, the number of declining stocks outweighed those advancing, with over 4,000 stocks experiencing declines across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets.
