Intel: Intel 18A-P Process Has Entered the Risk Production Stage

Intel Foundry Services revealed that Intel 18A-P, the first performance-enhanced version in the Intel 18A series, has entered the risk production stage. This process node brings gate-all-around transistors and backside power delivery technology to the market. Meanwhile, the department also showcased research achievements in future chip scaling, including a monolithic CFET inverter, monolithic integration technology for gallium nitride power devices and silicon-based logic on 300mm wafers, and a subtractive ruthenium interconnect technology using air-gap integration. Compared to copper interconnects, this technology reduces capacitance by approximately 35% and significantly increases frequency.
