Samsung Foundry's Executive Director, Song Tae-jung, has announced that the company's MPW (Multi-Project Wafer) service is projected to extend its reach to the 2nm process node by 2027. The MPW service enables the simultaneous fabrication of chip designs from various companies on a single wafer, significantly cutting down prototyping expenses for fabless firms and assessing their preparedness for large-scale production.
