On June 1, at the eve of Computex Taipei, U.S. chip behemoth NVIDIA revealed that, in addition to its ongoing collaboration with China's humanoid robot enterprise Unitree Technology, it intends to forge partnerships with humanoid robot producers in the United States, Europe, and South Korea. Together, they will develop a standardized humanoid robot platform tailored for research institutions. This platform will integrate NVIDIA's cutting-edge Jetson Thor computing platform with the Isaac GR00T AI model, with the goal of propelling the application of robotics technology within the research sphere. The inaugural robot built on this platform is set to be unveiled by Unitree Technology by the close of 2026. Standing nearly 1.8 meters tall, it will be well-suited for indoor services, laboratory tasks, and a variety of other scenarios.
