A research report from UBS indicates that the global memory market is experiencing a sustained supply crunch, primarily fueled by an explosive surge in demand for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and Dynamic Random-Access Memory (DRAM) within the AI GPU sector. In certain regions, memory prices have already seen a cumulative increase exceeding 400%. Looking ahead, it is projected that from the latter half of this year through to the first quarter of 2027, Dell's PC and server businesses will face an even more pronounced impact as the pressure from these price hikes intensifies.
