In its latest research report, Morgan Stanley forecasts that the global semiconductor industry will surge to a staggering $1.5 trillion by 2030, with AI-related semiconductor products playing a pivotal role, capturing a substantial market share. Simultaneously, cloud capital expenditures from leading cloud service providers continue to exhibit strong growth momentum. According to Morgan Stanley's Cloud Capital Expenditure Tracker, these expenditures are projected to near $811 billion by 2026. The report highlights that agentic artificial intelligence is ushering in fresh opportunities for CPU applications. Furthermore, as AI evolves from reasoning to execution phases, the computational requirements for GPUs are set to escalate. Given these trends, Morgan Stanley has revised upwards its estimate for the total addressable market size of orchestration CPUs under the base case scenario to $79 billion. It also predicts that the market value-add derived from CPU orchestration technology will soar to $238 billion.
