On the evening of May 22, Enjie shares announced that the fifth meeting of the sixth session of its board of directors had passed the 'Proposal on Terminating the Investment in the Construction of a Lithium Battery Separator Project in Malaysia' and decided to terminate the investment. Previously, in September 2024, Enjie shares had announced that its holding subsidiary, Shanghai Enjie, would establish a subsidiary in Malaysia to invest in and construct a lithium battery separator project, with a planned annual production capacity of approximately 1 billion square meters and an estimated total investment of around RMB 2 billion.
