According to data unveiled by South Korea's National Statistical Portal on May 24, during the first quarter of this year, the export volume from South Korea's top five companies, which encompass Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, soared to US$95.7 billion. This figure represents a substantial 43.5% of South Korea's overall export volume, which stood at US$219.9 billion. Notably, this marks a significant increase of 14.8 percentage points compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, highlighting the growing dominance of these major players in South Korea's export landscape.
