Chinese tech firm Wingtech Technology, along with its subsidiary Yucheng Holdings, has recently initiated legal proceedings at the Dongguan Intermediate People's Court in Guangdong Province. The lawsuit accuses Dutch semiconductor manufacturer Nexperia and five affiliated entities of engaging in infringing activities. Wingtech Technology alleges that discriminatory constraints imposed by the Dutch side have hindered its ability to fully exercise control over Nexperia, thereby causing substantial financial losses. Initially, the company is seeking 800 million yuan (approximately US$118 million) in economic damages and has also requested an immediate cessation of the infringing behavior. The court has accepted the case, although a specific trial date has yet to be scheduled.
