As the Dean of the School of Integrated Circuits at Hubei University and the Director of the Jiangcheng Laboratory, Yang was recognized for his remarkable achievements in the realm of integrated circuits. He played a pivotal role in founding the Jiangcheng Laboratory, spearheading the construction of China's first all-encompassing experimental platform for advanced packaging. By breaking through numerous technological 'bottlenecks,' he paved the way for the realization of significant undertakings like the National Memory Base, thereby propelling Hubei to the forefront of global memory chip manufacturing.
