On May 20, Dengfang Nanomi disclosed its decision to cancel the 'Production Base Project for 330,000 Tons/Year of New Phosphate-based Cathode Materials' situated in the Qujing Economic and Technological Development Zone, along with the 'Production Base Project for 110,000 Tons/Year of New Phosphate-based Cathode Materials' located in Huize County. Given that both projects were in their nascent stages of preparation and had not yielded any tangible benefits, their cancellation is not expected to significantly disrupt the company's ongoing operations. Concurrently, Dengfang Nanomi unveiled its ambitious plan to allocate a total investment of 8.7 billion yuan towards the establishment of the 'Luquan Dengfang Nanomi Green Phosphorus-based New Energy Material Industry Chain Integration Project' in Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County. This comprehensive project encompasses a phosphate cathode material project with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons and a nitric acid support project with an annual output of 270,000 tons. Furthermore, the company will embark on the 'Dengfang Nanomi Integrated Lithium-ion New Material Project' within the Qujing High-tech Industrial Development Zone, which will boast a production line capable of producing 200,000 tons of new phosphate materials annually.
