On April 27th, in Ningde, Fujian Province, CATL and Hypestrong inked a strategic cooperation agreement centered on sodium-ion batteries for energy storage, securing a substantial 3-year order collaboration totaling 60GWh. This deal represents the largest sodium-ion battery order globally to date, signifying a pivotal acceleration in the industrialization of sodium-ion batteries, propelling them into a new phase of large-scale deployment.
