On April 28th, Guangpu Technology (300632.SZ) made an announcement detailing its plans to enter into a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Sailer Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. The objective of this partnership is to jointly develop optical engine products specifically designed for optical communication modules. Both entities aim to deepen their collaboration by co-investing 50 million yuan to establish a joint venture. Guangpu Technology will contribute 37.5 million yuan, securing a 75% ownership stake in the venture. The joint venture will primarily focus on the research, development, manufacturing, and sales of advanced optical communication technologies and key products. These include optical engines, in-vehicle optical communication modules, inter-satellite optical communication modules, OCS, OIO, among others. Additionally, the joint venture will oversee the overseas packaging, testing, and sales of PIC chips.
