Hou Yongqing, Senior Vice President of TSMC, stated that in response to the surge in demand for AI and high-performance computing, TSMC is accelerating its capacity expansion. This year, five 2nm wafer fabrication plants will enter the ramp-up phase, with 2nm output expected to increase by approximately 45% in the first year compared to the same period for 3nm.
