Intel has officially unveiled its latest-generation Xeon 6+ E-core series processors, internally codenamed Clearwater Forest. Leveraging Intel's cutting-edge 18A manufacturing process, these processors boast an impressive configuration of up to 288 cores and support for 12-channel memory. They are slated for release in the first half of 2026. Meanwhile, the debut of the new-generation P-core Xeon processor, Diamond Rapids, which was initially scheduled for the latter half of 2026, has been delayed until 2027. Upon its release, it is anticipated to be branded as the Xeon 7 series.
