Tesla CEO Musk revealed during an analyst call that the company plans to adopt Intel's advanced 14A manufacturing process for chip production in the Terafab project. Musk believes that choosing the 14A process is a wise move, considering that the process may have matured by the time the Terafab project scales up, and given the strong relationship between Tesla and Intel. This move is expected to boost investor confidence in Intel's next-generation manufacturing process, which has previously been affected by chip yield issues. In early April, Intel joined the Terafab AI chip complex project to support Musk's robotics and data center initiatives.
