Recently, prominent high-end Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) suppliers, such as Taiwan Electromagnetic Co., Ltd., ITEQ Corporation, and Elna Japan, have been in active discussions with their clientele regarding price adjustments. ITEQ Corporation, grappling with the escalating costs of raw materials like copper foil and higher processing fees, has implemented a price hike for its CCL offerings since April 25. Certain products under its portfolio have witnessed price surges ranging from 20% to 40%. Similarly, Taiwan Electromagnetic Co., Ltd. has initiated a price revision for its high-end materials, effecting an approximate 10% increase starting from the second quarter. This adjustment is primarily geared towards products used in AI servers, switches, and related applications. Meanwhile, Elna Japan is anticipated to join the trend in April, proposing a price increment of around 10%.
