Korea Zinc, the world's largest refined zinc company, announced on Thursday the launch of a US$7.4 billion key metals refinery project in Clarksville, Tennessee, USA. The project is planned for full-scale construction in 2027 and is set to commence operations in 2029, with an annual production capacity of 540,000 tons, covering 13 non-ferrous metals including zinc, copper, lead, and rare earths.
