The National Natural Science Foundation of China has unveiled the 'Top Ten Scientific Advances in China' for 2025, featuring ten significant achievements, including the revelation of the lunar farside's evolutionary history through Chang'e-6 samples. In October of the same year, the team of Peng Zhou and Chunsen Liu from Fudan University successfully developed the 'Changying (CY-01)' architecture, which integrates two-dimensional ultra-fast flash memory devices with mature silicon-based CMOS technology, introducing the world's first 2D-silicon hybrid architecture chip. This chip significantly outperforms existing Flash memory technology and has achieved engineering implementation of the hybrid architecture, with successful tape-out already accomplished. The team plans to integrate the project to a mega-scale level within the next 3-5 years by establishing experimental bases and fostering collaborations.
