Arm China has proudly announced the launch of its cutting-edge video processor IP, known as the 'Linglong' V560/V760 VPU IP, with the internal codename 'Emei'. This innovative product features a programmable design that seamlessly combines multi-core processing with versatile encoding/decoding functionalities. Capable of handling 4K video encoding at 60 frames per second (FPS) or 8K video decoding at 30 FPS with a single core, it incorporates advanced Context-Adaptive Encoding (CAE) technology for comprehensive, intelligent optimization across the entire video processing chain. Moreover, it offers full compatibility with widely adopted video encoding/decoding standards, including the latest H.266.

At present, the product has already garnered its initial wave of customer approvals and authorizations across various sectors, such as servers, machine vision, and video transcoding.
