At the 2026 XuanTie RISC-V Ecosystem Conference, Alibaba DAMO Academy introduced its latest high-performance CPU, the XuanTie C950. Built on the open-source RISC-V architecture, this CPU has achieved a remarkable single-core general-purpose performance score of over 70 in the SPECint2006 benchmark test, setting a new global benchmark for RISC-V CPU performance. The XuanTie C950 is well-suited for a variety of cutting-edge fields, including cloud computing, generative AI, advanced robotics, and edge computing. By capitalizing on the open-source nature of RISC-V, the XuanTie C950 incorporates a self-developed AI acceleration engine, offering, for the first time, native support for large-scale models with hundreds of billions of parameters, such as Qwen3 and DeepSeek V3.
