On March 19, Cristiano Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm, revealed at a shareholders' meeting that the company's potential market size is expected to reach $900 billion by 2030. The company is steadily progressing toward its fiscal 2029 performance goals, aiming for combined revenue of $22 billion from its QCT automotive and IoT businesses. In the field of wearable devices such as smart glasses, over 40 terminals based on the Snapdragon platform are already in mass production or under development, with smart glasses potentially becoming the largest category. Additionally, Qualcomm is developing next-generation wireless technologies like Wi-Fi 8, with consumer terminals expected to hit the market as early as the summer of 2026.
