On March 17 (local time), Choi Tae-won, the chairman of South Korea's SK Group, made a notable statement at NVIDIA's GTC conference. He pointed out that, given the systemic bottlenecks in chip production, the global scarcity of memory chips is likely to remain a pressing issue until 2030. In addition, he forecasted that the prices of storage chips, including DRAM, NAND, and HBM, would keep climbing, with this upward trajectory potentially extending over a considerable period.
