This week, TSMC has officially launched its 2026 campus recruitment campaign. On March 7, the company paid a visit to National Taiwan University to take part in a corporate expo, in a bid to scout for outstanding talents in the semiconductor sector. TSMC announced that to cater to its business expansion and technological advancement requirements, it intends to recruit around 8,000 new employees in Taiwan this year, encompassing engineers and technicians. These new hires will be stationed across various regions, including Taoyuan and Hsinchu. Notably, the average annual salary for freshly recruited engineers holding a master's degree can soar up to NT$2.2 million (equivalent to approximately RMB 480,000).
