On the 5th, Chen Libai, Chairman of Adata, revealed that the inventory levels of the three leading DRAM memory manufacturers have edged close to the warning threshold, with stockpiles sufficient for only 3 to 5 weeks of operation. Presently, the memory market is undergoing a “super cycle,” propelled by a spike in demand for AI data center construction and enterprise-level storage solutions, resulting in a supply deficit. As a consequence, NAND flash memory prices have surged, and it is projected that the shipment prices of the three major manufacturers will climb by an additional 40% in the second quarter of 2026. Numerous large cloud service providers and other clients are now in the process of negotiating long-term memory contracts, and even some companies that have not previously partnered with Adata are seeking a stable supply. Adata initiated early stockpiling efforts from September 2025 and anticipates its inventory to reach NTD 35 billion (approximately RMB 7.731 billion) by the end of March this year, ensuring an ample supply of low-priced inventory.
